Here is a list of the other winners this season.

Jan. 29: Taiwo Badmus (UVa-Wise)

As the season progresses, we can see a fairly clear delineation At the top of the MEC as those 5 or 6 teams separating themselves from the rest of the league.  West Liberty has a strangle hold on the league lead with a 2 game lead.  The Hilltoppers also had their floor leader sit down with Andy Katz last week.  Here is that link.

While Fairmont State and Wheeling Jesuit duke it out over second.  The upset loss to UVA Wise did not help the Cardinals last week. Actually, their last three losses all came at home, first to West Liberty then to Shepherd a week later and finally to Wise about 10 days later.

While Fairmont has won 10 of their last 11 games with their one loss coming at Wheeling Jesuit.  Shepherd with their 10-6 conference record puts them out of contention, but they are still competing and will continue to wreak havoc on the teams at the top.
