This week is the final week of MEC Conference play before next week’s MEC Tournament in Charleston WV.
West Liberty still sits at #5 in the country and Wheeling Jesuit, the team they host Saturday re entered the top 25 at… 25th.
In the NCAA Div II regional rankings has three MEC teams, including both Hilltoppers and Cardinals, but also Fairmont State.
Tommy Bolte, from Concord has been named Mountain East Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as he averaged over 36 points a game, along with 6.5 boards and 3.5 assists per game. Taiwo Badmus also shared the honor as he averaged 34 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3 assists per game last week.

This Weeks Highlights:
The 5th ranked Hilltoppers will host 25th ranked Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday at 4pm. It will be a huge game for both teams as neither schools wants to go into the MEC Tournament on a loss. It will be the biggest game on the schedule this week by far and one that both teams have been looking forward to since their first tilt.
